Green Burials for Earth Stewardship
A Growing Movement
Thursday, June 25
6:30pm - 8:00pm
Peterborough Town Library
1833 RoomLearn about natural and environmentally friendly alternatives to conventional burials.
Future environmental challenges can be mitigated by the choices we make today. Our disposition is one small act in the play of our lives, yet it makes a big difference.
It can:
- Reduce carbon footprint and support natural eco-cycles
- Preserve land as cemeteries, trusts, or recreational areas
- Restore wildlife habitats and native plant life
- What story willy our life leave behind - not just in memories, but written into the land itself?
Curious about what your other options are? Join the conversation about earth-friendly end-of-life choices. The legacy we leave is more than an inheritance of family heirlooms, it is also a legacy of love, respect, ethics, and a vision for a sustainable life for our great great grandchildren.
