I am a retired middle school teacher from the ConVal District who has lived in Peterborough for the past 23 years.  I have become an active library user after my volunteer work with the 1833 Society, who raised the funds for the library renovation. I also chaired the committee who chose all of the furniture for the new library.  Currently, I spend my time pastel painting, gardening, reading and e-biking through the Monadnock Region.

John Lawlor

John  has been a construction supervisor with extensive experience supervising the building of large commercial, industrial, and educational facilities for over 40 years, and supervised the remodel and addition of the Peterborough Town Library. He has been a resident of Peterborough for the last 17 years with his family. After being involved with the library staff over the past one plus years, he is thankful for the opportunity to work with them in a new and different capacity.
