Donating books?
During the hours the bookshop is open, we welcome most books in good condition, but there are some we don’t accept. To help us avoid extra disposal fees, please don’t bring us:
- Adult non-fiction- except biographies and history
- Textbooks
- Encyclopedias
- CDs and DVDs
- Magazines
- Abridged or condensed versions of books
- Advance readers’ copies/uncorrected proofs
- Library discards
- Moldy, stained, or damaged books
Donation Information:
To ensure donations meet our criteria (see below) volunteers screen all incoming books, so we ask that books only be brought to the bookshop (and not the Library) during bookshop open hours.
