1833 RoomLearn how to use flowers and foliage to create beautiful natural designs on fabric!
In this hands on flower pounding workshop, participants will get to decorate and take home a piece of practice fabric as well as a 100% cotton tea towel.
The library will supply fabric, flowers, and will have some hammers available. Feel free to bring your own hammer, plus flowers and foliage from your garden - cosmos, ferns, nasturtiums, roses, morning glories, petunias, and garden phlox are recommended.
This program is for ages 9-99. Kids under the age of 13 must have a caregiver registered as well. Registration is required as materials and seats are limited.
This program is free and open to all. Please note that library parking is not guaranteed. Patrons who are able are encouraged to take advantage of Peterborough’s walkable downtown by parking in the Depot Square or Riverwalk lots.
