The Friends of the
Peterborough Town Library
The Friends of the Peterborough Town Library is a non-profit group of devoted supporters of the Library. Their primary mission is to raise funds for items and programs that are not included in the Library's annual budget. They believe in the importance of supporting and enhancing our Library for current and future readers.
Become a Member of the Friends
Your membership can make a real contribution to our library services and facilities, and can make a great library even greater by serving more people in more ways. You do not have to volunteer as a member. Be as involved as your time allows.
Member dues (tax deductible):
- Individual Member $20.00
- Family Member $30.00
- Life Member $500.00
Checks should be made payable to the Friends of the Peterborough Town Library.

What do the Friends do?
The Friends run the Kyes-Sage Book Shop, which is open May- November, 3 days a week, selling good quality used adult and childrens books. The funds raised go towards library services like:
- Summer Reading Program
- Children and teen's special events and programs
- Any extras that the tax dollar doesn’t cover

Volunteer
There are many opportunities to contribute to the Library through the Friends. Please email the Friends to find out more at: friendsofpeterboroughlibrary@gmail.com
Opportunities include:
- Working at the Kyes-Sage Used Book Shop (ages 18+)
- Gardening
- Assisting at programs
- Serving on a committee that develops a continued education series
