PTL has five full-time librarians and seven part-time staff.
Aimee began working at PTL in 2016 as the coordinator of the community gallery space and hasn't looked back! With her degree in Arts Management, a wide-ranging background in customer service, and years working with youth of all ages, Aimee has just the right skill set for her varied position as our Public Services Librarian. Aimee also has her NHLA Level 3 Paralibrarian Certification! Aimee assists with all youth programming, runs all of our programs for teens, and coordinates our Community Art Gallery. She also does a majority of the marketing for the library including posts to our Facebook and Instagram accounts!

Bruce is a Library Assistant at the Peterborough Town Library helping with both the upper and lower levels. As a recent retiree of the corporate world and a resident of Peterborough Bruce was looking for a way to be part of the community. The Peterborough Library was a perfect fit. He looks forward to helping you with any of you Library needs.
Corinne has been a public librarian for fourteen years and Director of the PTL since 2014. She served on the library Capital Campaign cabinet and assisted in their successful mission to raise $8.5 million for the PTL renovation. Corinne and co-project manager Tina Kriebel, oversaw the construction of the new library from the design phase, all the way to completing the building on time and on budget. Corinne has her Masters in Library Science from Simmons College. She is a volunteer on the Emergency Monetary Assistance Coalition (EmMA), which networks various aid resources in Peterborough to help those in need. She also serves on the Executive Board of the NH Library Association and as Treasurer to the Nubanusit Libraries Co-op.

Deena graduated from Keene State in 2022 and has happily settled into library work. They enjoy spending free time crocheting amigurumi and writing genre fiction. You can often spot them wearing fun earrings, especially on Storytime days. Deena is quickly becoming familiar with the children's collection and is a great source for reading suggestions.
Dyane has been working at the Peterborough Town Library since 2007! She attended Hesser College, the Boston Conservatory of Music, and the Vesper George School of Art. She spends her days cooking and baking, walking, gardening, writing, and catching up with friends. Dyane says "PTL is like a second home, the patrons, books, and staff make it a great place to work and visit"!
Linda, our Cataloguer, is happiest when a pile of new books is waiting for her attention. She has a Master’s degree in Library Science and a Bachelor’s degree in World Studies. Linda’s previous experience includes time as a medical librarian, library science instructor, brokerage clerk, high school librarian, and writer. She has worked at the Peterborough Town Library for quite a few years.

Lisa has always worked in college or public libraries. Working at the Jaffrey Public Library fueled her passion for public libraries and, while completing her MSLIS at Simmons College, she became the director of the Marlborough’s Frost Free Library. As Head of Youth Services, since 2005, at the Peterborough Town Library, she adores watching the Babies from Baby Storytime grow into the Young Adults who are changing the world. Lisa was a geology major in college and pursues her naturalist tendencies daily.

Nancy is a Library Assistant who is delighted to check out your items to you or help you choose your next book! She takes care of all of our Inter-library Loan items and served as the Head of Circulation at Hampstead Public Library for 15 years before moving with her family to the Monadnock region. Nancy is an avid reader and enjoys spinning her own yarn to use in knitting and weaving projects.

Nik has been working at the Peterborough Town Library since 2019 as a Library Assistant. In January 2024, they were promoted to Circulation Manager. They currently head up the lost and overdue book procces and manage our patron data. Nik also mends and repairs lovingly used materials. They attended Smith College as well as The North Bennett Street School in Boston where they got their certificate in Bookbinding. When they aren't fixing books and creating meticulous, artful spreadsheets to track library data, they enjoy knitting and crocheting, bookbinding on non-library books and telling people about their cats. If you want a good true crime or graphic novel recommendation, Nik is your go-to!

Peter started at the Peterborough Town Library as a volunteer and then joined the library staff in 2018. After teaching for 40 years, retirement brought on the relization that he missed being with books - Peter is happy to fulfill that need at PTL!
Rebecca joined PTL in April 2024 as the Programming and Outreach Librarian. She holds an M.S. in Library and Information Science with a concentration in Archives Management from Simmons University and has worked for 10 years as a professional archivist. She also has many years of experience volunteering, interning, and working part-time in the library profession – including her very first job at age 14. After living away from the Monadnock Region for over a decade, Rebecca is excited to return to her roots and spend more time with her family and friends in the area.

Rory is a Library Assistant at the Peterborough Town Library on the upper and lower levels. Rory possesses customer service experience in numerous areas and can assist you with whatever brings you to our beautiful library! Rory enjoys spending time outside, writing, and hanging out with his dog in his free time.
