The Peterborough Town Library, in cooperation with the Monadnock Writers’ Group, invites you to a discussion of a new novel set in Peterborough. The author will be present to interact with readers and anyone who appreciates the character of our town. The story centers on that rusty, bouncy pedestrian bridge crossing the Contoocook while the Main Street Bridge and the library were being rebuilt. The town and its details are non-fiction but the story is populated by made-up citizens you may think you know. Do not worry about the title, which may take on meaning as the book progresses, even though there is no effort to teach anything about building a bridge.
