Perfect for kids who like to sit and listen to longer stories, suggested for ages 3-6 with a caregiver - siblings are always welcome too!
We gather for Preschool Storytime in the Elizabeth Room, then go as a group up to the 1833 Room for stories, movements, and songs!
After stories we go into the Eben Jones Classroom for the craft and check books out in the Elizabeth Room.
Storytime is more than just developing a love of stories.
By attending, children become more comfortable and excited about visiting the library.
We encourage early reading habits for the whole family and strive to give parents the tools they need to help their children learn and discover.
We also stress the importance of fine motor skills and physical development.
We invite all families to join us while we ‘Talk, Read, Sing and Play—Every Day!’
Peterborough Town Library, located downtown at the corner of Main and Concord/Rt 202, has a large meeting room, study rooms, classroom, and a board room available to the public.
