Make a lantern for the Lantern Parade!
Create a lantern with the Children and the Arts Committee for marching with in the Lantern Parade! This year's theme is a Flutter of Flight!
This workshop is for ages 9-99. Kids under the age of 13 must have a caregiver registered as well.
Participants should wear clothing that can get glue-y and bring a pair of scissors.
Please register everyone who will be making a lantern. Due to limited space, REGISTRATION IS REQUIRED. Please notify us if you’re NOT coming as to allow space for waitlist participants.

Help Children and the Arts give the gift of light to our community as we light up Our Town with a Lantern Parade on Saturday, December 6th at 6pm - rain date December 7th. More details given at the workshops.
The Children and the Arts Committee is a non-profit organization composed of committed citizen volunteers. Their mission to offer a FREE arts festival to celebrate art for, by, and with the children of our community.

This program is free and open to all. Please note that library parking is not guaranteed. Patrons who are able are encouraged to take advantage of Peterborough’s walkable downtown by parking in the Depot Square or Riverwalk lots.
