Join Interpretive Ranger Evan for an intro to this fun activity that gets you outside and exploring our community and beyond!
In this introductory program we will unpack what it means to geocache, how we find one, and how to set one up ourselves!
Bring along a smartphone so we can get you logged on and Geocaching right away.
Perfect for adults and whole families looking for a fun way to get outside - all are welcome to attend.
This program is presented by Evan Walsh from NH State Parks!
Evan Walsh is an Interpretive Ranger representing NH State Parks and the Student Conservation Association. He has served the greater Concord-Manchester and Great North Woods areas this past year and is looking forward to enjoying the natural beauty of the Monadnock region this Fall. Prior to his role as Interpretive Ranger he was a high school Spanish teacher at Kearsarge Regional High School and Wilderness guide for multiple organizations in the United States and South America. Going forward Evan hopes to pursue a career in Conservation and Wildlife Management.
Evan says "I am relatively new to Geocaching so I am excited to go on this journey together! See you soon!"
