This informative evening session will cover:
• The differences between Medicare A, B, D, Medicaid, Veterans benefits
• Visiting Nurse/Home Health criteria and benefits
• Choices when going home from a hospital or a skilled nursing/rehabilitation facility
• Pros and cons of what it looks like to be cared for at home
Free and open to all, registration required. Light refreshments will be served to attendees.
This program is presented in partnership with Home Healthcare, Hospice and Community Services (HCS). HCS is a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit organization serving over 2000 people in 52 southwestern New Hampshire communities every day. HCS is Medicare certified and licensed by the State of New Hampshire as a home care provider. HCS is governed by a Board of Directors comprised of local residents who volunteer their time and are committed to the health and well-being of our community, and is proud to be a Monadnock United Way agency and a We Honor Veterans partner. HCS offices are located in Charlestown, Keene, and Peterborough.
Peterborough Town Library, located downtown at the corner of Main and Concord/Rt 202, has a large meeting room, study rooms, classroom, and a board room available to the public.
