Make a lantern for the Lantern Parade!
Create a lantern with the Children and the Arts Committee for marching with in the Lantern Parade on December 7th!
This year's theme is Our Towns!
This workshop is for children in 5th-8th grade (WITH an adult), high schoolers, and adults too!
Participants should wear clothing that can get glue-y and bring a pair of scissors.
Please register everyone who will be making a lantern. Due to limited space, REGISTRATION REQUIRED.
We ask that you select ONE workshop that most interests you and please notify us if you’re NOT coming as to allow space for waitlist participants.

Help Children and the Arts give the gift of light to our community as we light up Our Town with a Lantern Parade on Saturday, December 7th at 6pm - rain date December 8th. More details given at the workshops.
The Children and the Arts Committee is a non-profit organization composed of committed citizen volunteers. Their mission to offer a FREE arts festival to celebrate art for, by, and with the children of our community.
Peterborough Town Library, located downtown at the corner of Main and Concord/Rt 202, has a large meeting room, study rooms, classroom, and a board room available to the public.
