After School Storytime is for kids who are in kindergarten and elementary school.
We read fairy/folktales, funny books, and longer stories, and work on a more advanced craft or STEAM activity each session.
After School Storytime gathers in the Elizabeth Room and then moves to into the Eben Jones Classroom for the craft.
Storytime is more than just developing a love of stories.
By attending, children become more comfortable and excited about visiting the library.
We encourage early reading habits for the whole family and strive to give parents the tools they need to help their children learn and discover.
We also stress the importance of fine motor skills and physical development.
We invite all families to join us while we ‘Talk, Read, Sing and Play—Every Day!’
