Learn how local homeowners transformed their lawn into a vibrant meadow. Part of the 2026 Natural NH series.
This presentation will provide an example of how homeowners converted a lawn to a native meadow. The presenters will describe the process and the resulting meadow, and how the lessons learned were applied in New Hampshire.
About the Presenter
Mary is a New Hampshire Master Gardner and Dewey is a Maryland Master Naturalist. They are Land Stewards for the Forest Society in New Hampshire and spent 15 years as volunteer trail workers on the Appalachian Trail in the Mid-Atlantic. The Clarks have worked with federal, state, and local land managers across three states on forest health. Since 2024, they have sponsored the Natural NH speaker series at the Peterborough Town Library.
The 2026 Natural NH Series is generously sponsored by our donors, who also coordinate and produce these events. PTL is very thankful to them for their dedication to providing educational opportunities to our community in the areas of environmentalism and conservation.
