A workshop for families!
Color Our World with imagination and improv with Andy's Summer Playhouse!
Ahoy mateys! Join Kevin from Orange Grove Dance as we sail the seven seas of the living room! We use Ahoy! by Sophie Blackall as inspiration for this interactive workshop. Plus, we will use everyday household objects and materials to create an engaging atmosphere. In this family involvement workshop, we will harness the power of “Yes, And!” as we interact and engage with young learners and their caregivers. Participants will learn how to use improvisation tools and the collaborative mindset to engage in child-directed play strategies, and enhance interactions between young learners and caregivers, while ensuring quality caregiver-to-child connections. When children feel secure enough to follow their curiosity, this leads to learning. And these relationships nurture a lifetime love of learning!
This program is for families of all ages with a caregive present and participating!
