Join us for the adventure of stories! We will read several stories, move between them, and make a craft.
Designed for preschoolers and their older and younger siblings and visitors.
We gather for Family Storytime in the Elizabeth Room, then go as a group to the Library Terrace if it's nice out (or up to the 1833 Room if it's not).
Storytime is more than just developing a love of stories.
By attending, children become more comfortable and excited about visiting the library.
We encourage early reading habits for the whole family and strive to give parents the tools they need to help their children learn and discover.
We also stress the importance of fine motor skills and physical development.
We invite all families to join us while we ‘Talk, Read, Sing and Play—Every Day!’
Peterborough Town Library, located downtown at the corner of Main and Concord/Rt 202, has a large meeting room, study rooms, classroom, and a board room available to the public.
