Presented by the River Center this class is for 4th-6th graders!
Students in Grades 4-6 learn how to practice safe habits, how to prevent unsafe situations, and what to do when faced with dangers such as power failures or weather emergencies.
Students are also introduced to the Safe Sitter® First Aid Chart and learn a system to help them assess and respond to injuries and illnesses.
The program is designed to prepare students for their first steps towards independence.
Class is $5/student only thanks to generous funding from the Friends of the Peterborough Town Library.
Class fee includes a workbook to keep!
This class is offered in partnership with the River Center and registration will be through their website.
Peterborough Town Library, located downtown at the corner of Main and Concord/Rt 202, has a large meeting room, study rooms, classroom, and a board room available to the public.
