Join Lisa B. for stories, songs, and a craft! Click on the event title for more information.
We gather for Preschool Storytime in the Elizabeth Room, then go as a group up to the 1833 Room for stories, movements and songs!
After stories we break into smaller groups to go into the Eben Jones Classroom for the craft and check books out in the Elizabeth Room.
All preschoolers who enjoy sitting and listening to stories, and their caregivers, are welcome (siblings too).
Everyone is welcome at our programs. Please let us know how we may ensure this program is accessible for your family. Aimee and Lisa are available to discuss in-person or by phone or email.
Storytime is more than just developing a love of stories.
By attending, children become more comfortable and excited about visiting the library.
We encourage early reading habits for the whole family and strive to give parents the tools they need to help their children learn and discover.
We also stress the importance of fine motor skills and physical development.
We invite all families to join us while we ‘Talk, Read, Sing and Play—Every Day!’
