1833 RoomFrancestown residents David Gleason and Judy Bitterli will lead a public discussion about how AI is changing our world, for better and worse, and offer their thoughts about where we are headed.
Using prompts from the audience, David will run a live demonstration of AI technology. Judy Bitterli will moderate. This evening is an updated version of a program they offered in Francestown in May, and will provide context and background for the Library's upcoming AI programming.
About the Presenters:
David is the founder and leader of the Community Roundtable in Francestown, a participatory discussion group which applies ethics to today's complex problems. Deliberately non-partisan and open to the public, we have vigorous discussions on the 2nd & 4th Wednesday of each month (8:30AM @ Bob’s Chocolate Cafe). David is also Managing Editor of the MyEthics.net website, and publisher of the MyEthics newsletter. A former CIO and consultant, David expertly explains complex technical concepts in lay terms.
Judy is a former Chief Marketing Officer for some of the world's largest online security companies.
This program is free and open to all. Please note that library parking is not guaranteed. Patrons who are able are encouraged to take advantage of Peterborough’s walkable downtown by parking in the Depot Square or Riverwalk lots.
