Free gentle morning yoga class. Made possible by The River Center.
Join us for the spring 2025 session of Morning Yoga, with new instructor, Karen McAuliffe! Karen teaches a gentle yoga class designed for all abilities. This class will consist of a series of yoga poses that can be done seated or standing. Poses can be adjusted to make you feel more energetic or grounded depending on what you need. We will incorporate breath-work into our practice to encourage the mind and body to relax. Yoga can improve circulation, increase strength, and encourage greater mobility. All are welcome.
Monday Morning Yoga is brought to the library in partnership with The River Center. This program is free and open to all, however, donations to the River Center are greatly appreciated. Click here to learn more about the River Center.
About the Instructor:
Karen McAuliffe retired from Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center managing the Transfusion Medicine Research Center and is new to Peterborough. "I have always believed that "bodies in motion stay in motion" and always done some form of physical fitness. If your body isn't in motion, it will lose muscle tone, thereby not protecting yourself from injury. As we age, it is even more important to stay active. You can always find me on the rail trail walking my dog or exploring the beautiful town of Peterborough."
