part of the Children and the Arts Festival: Greatest Hits: Celebrating 30 Years of Children and the Arts!
A part of the 2025 Children and the Arts Festival, the featured exhibit in the Peterborough Town Library's Community Art Gallery this month is a Mixed Media Art Exhibition created by ConVal High School students titled: Greatest Hits!
High school students from 2D, 3D, and Ceramics classes have created works of art based on their favorite themes from past years of Children and the Arts Festivals in celebration of this year being the 30th Festival!
Join us on Friday, May 16th for a reception celebrating the artists from 5-7pm.
The Children and the Arts Festival Committee will also be screening videos of past festival parades in the Library's 1833 Room during the reception.
In addition, the library will have artwork on display in the Elizabeth Room. Remastered: a throwback to the greatest hits of Children and the Arts is an exhibit by High school students from 2D, 3D, and Ceramics classes. They have transformed old CDs into works of art based on their favorite themes from past years of Children and the Arts Festivals.
On view through May 31st both of these exhibits are available to view during regular library hours.
Peterborough Town Library, located downtown at the corner of Main and Concord/Rt 202, has a large meeting room, study rooms, classroom, and a board room available to the public.
